Engr at Promo Girl (Part I)

Bandang alas 7 ng gabi, may bigla akong nareceive na message sa phone ko habang nanonood ako nang replay ng NBA game.
Unknown #: Hi po sir, nahulog ko na po yung entry nyo.
Me: (pa as if na hindi ko natatandaan yung promo girl) entry po saan?? baka wrong send ka po sir/maam?
U#: This is Rhian po, yung promo girl sa pharma.
Me: Ahh ok. Sige maam thank you po.
U#: Ok sir. welcome!
Akala ko hanggang dun lang ang aming komunikasyon. Ngunit bandang 11PM nang gabi after 1 week, galing ako sa isang bar at napagdesisyunan ko munang mgdrop by sa pharma(convenience store) para bumili nang instant noodles pantanggal nang sakit sa ulo. Nakita ko si Rhian sa labas na parang merong hinihintay, nilapitan ko sabay sabi:
M: Hi miss!! Rhian right?
R: Ohh hello po sir. Yes I am Rhian, how are you po? You look tipsy sir ah..
M: Yeah a little bit. Just went chilling and dating.
R: Ohh.. That girl is a lucky girl then.. (Smiling cutely)
M: Not with a girl, just dating by myself.
R: (Laughing) Sorry sir, that line was a strange line, for a man like you.
M: Well, thats what it is. Anyway, gonna go inside for some noodles. Nice seeing you again.
Pagkatapos bumili ng noodles, paglabas ko ay nandun pa rin sya ngunit may kasama nang isang bakla.
R: Going home sir? Take care!! Drive safe.
M: Ok thank you Miss Rhian. (Can't help staring at her cute smile).
Gay Friend: Sir, pwd po ba daw siya magpahatid? total along the way naman po siya kung uuwi na kayo agad.
R: (Kinurot yung bakla) No sir. Wag na, nakakahiya. Magtricycle nalang ako. Take care sir. (Blushing)
M: No its fine, if its along the way, then you can come.
R: No sir. Its really fine.
M: I insist. I'll blame myself if something happens to you on the road, after all, its late night already, its really dangerous for ladies like you to travel alone at this time.
G/F: (Kinikilig) Ok friend go na. Chance mo na yan!
Wala na ngang nagawa si Rhian at sumakay na sa kotse ko. Habang nasa daan, I invited her to drop by on a drive-thru to order some food. Sabi pa nya ay busog pa daw siya pero napilit ko din naman. Habang nasa daan, medyo marami din kaming napag-usapan, family, life(college life in particular), relationships (past relationships as i knew we we're both singles pala). Nang malapit na kami sa boarding house nya, ewan ko bah pero bigla ko nalang nasabi:
M: Rhian, mind if I invite you for a couple of movie at my place?
R: Its fine by me as long as it's my free time. When?
M: Tonight? If its fine.
R: For real?? (a moment of silence for she was still thinking)
(I was really nervous waiting for her response, then suddenly)
R: Ok its fine, anyways, I am not yet sleepy and there are still so many fries in here. But can you wait a little bit at my b-house, I'll just change my clothes to be more comfortable.
M: Not a problem my lady!!
R: (Blushing)
*Sorry guys, hanggang dito lang muna, tired na ako. Siningit ko lang kasi to sa time ko habang nag-rerevise nang mga plano sa building construction. way of cooling off muna sa stress. Hahabaan ko na next time kung meron ako sapat na time. Malapit na kasi deadline nang presentation.
